We are constantly getting phone calls and letters from the Ivory Coast! The Christians there are anxious for our return. The church in Yamoussoukro, (the Administrative Capital of the country) is growing and we are praying that we will have the funds to help them build a church building for our believers this term...approx. $22,000. They have been renting for a long time now but desperately need their own land and church building. We trust you, our dear supporters, will help us in this project! Maurice, one of the village evangelist, wrote us and said that he and some of the village Christians are preparing us a small house so that when we come to their village, we will have our own place to sleep and recuperate. He reminded us that we were getting old now and we needed this! Ha! This term will be completely different from all the others in that it will just be the two of us going back to the field. We have never been in Africa without our children. Jason was only six weeks old when we left the States back in 1970......and four more after him! Where have all the years gone? The parting will be heartbreaking but we know the Lord isn’t finished with us in the Ivory Coast! Thank you for your unwavering love and support, patience and faithful prayers for us and the ministry in the ivory Coast through the years! We will stay in touch and will keep you informed as to our exact and soon return date. The reason we have not written you all until now is because we wanted to give you some definite news concerning the reasons for our delays in departure and let you know exactly what is going on. Thank you so much for your understanding.
