Rodney’s Testimony

As a young boy, at Faith Baptist Church in Ellenwood, Georgia, I received Christ as my personal Savior.  I grew up in church and rarely missed a church service because of my mother.  During this time my path crossed a young woman who I later made my wife.  We were married and the Lord has blessed us with two beautiful girls.

God called me to preach and burdened my heart for missions at the age of 26 while on a mission trip to Honduras.  He later led us to the country of Venezuela as the focus of our calling. 

Faye’s Testimony

I did not grow up in a Christian home; however, my parents made sure my siblings and I were on the church bus every Sunday morning.  I regularly attended Canaan Baptist Church in Covington, Georgia, from the age of  9.  I received the Lord as my Savior at a summer camp meeting in 1991 at the age of 18.  I was baptized shortly thereafter.  I met Rodney at church as a teenager, and after dating him for 5 years, we were engaged and married a year later.  We now have two daughters.  Katie is 10 years old, and Josie is 5 years old.

The Lord spoke to me about missions on a trip Rodney and I took to Honduras.  I surrendered to the call to missions at a mission’s conference later that year.  He later revealed, after much prayer, that He wanted our family to serve Him in the country of Venezuela.  I count it a great honor to serve our Lord as a missionary.
